Maple Lake sits at the top of Maple Falls. It is the source of the waterfall and Hurriclover's usual home.
When the plants reach the lake, the wind suddenly rises and falling maple leaves fill the air; the route shifts from mountain paths to lake-surface combat and heavy gusts.
Hurriclover usually lives on a small island in the center of the lake, while Potato Mine returns here from time to time. The area therefore carries both a main-story meeting and a side-story reunion.
Fighting over the water changes the usual planting assumptions, and Hurriclover's volleys are formed from Maple Lake water compressed together with maple leaves.
The lake also preserves older leads. Hurriclover mentions historical records here about the zombie ancestor who created Majorist.
