Cave of Maple Falls

Inside Maple Mountain. A thousand years ago, this cave was a paradise for monkeys.

As industrialization advanced, it was gradually abandoned.

Inside are pieces of furniture that seem to have grown from the rock itself, all under very dim light. Deeper in, a river is said to flow to the Eastern Sea — whether it truly does is unclear. Later surveys found that it leads to a stretch of sea on the mountain's western side.

Today it is nearly forgotten. Few people know where the entrance is; they only remember that one existed somewhere downstream long ago.

The interior is lifeless now.

Still, there are rumors that something is hidden here.
