The cave lies inside Maple Mountain. A thousand years ago, it was a paradise for monkeys.

As industrialization advanced, it was gradually abandoned.

Inside, pieces of furniture seem to have grown from the rock itself, all under very dim light. Deeper in, a river is said to flow to the Eastern Sea. Whether it truly does is unclear; later surveys found that it leads to a stretch of sea west of the mountain.

Today the cave is nearly forgotten. Few people know where its entrance is; they remember only that one once existed somewhere downstream.

The interior is lifeless now.

Still, there are rumors that something is hidden here.
