Maple Falls

The great waterfall east of the house, reached after crossing the street.

It dwarfs the house many times over: roughly two kilometers tall (the tallest real-world waterfall is 979 m) and very wide, though the in-game routes pass through narrower stretches.

A large lake, Maple Lake, sits at the top and feeds the falls.

The wind is strong here on most days — usually a stiff breeze, sometimes a gale or squall — so visitors should come prepared.

Wind aside, it is not especially dangerous. The drop is enormous, but stairways and paths were built into the mountain long ago. The area is generally safe — though falling into the water remains a bad idea.

Hurriclover usually lives on a small island in the center of Maple Lake and comes down to the house only when needed. Because of Hurriclover, Potato Mine also tends to appear in this area.
