Opti-caltrop is a Mysterious Swamp laser plant: saved firing angles let later beams refract through other orbs and raise raw damage.

Its temper is sharp, but the head orb is not decoration. The same orb acts as beam origin, refraction relay, firefly lure, and lamp interface, so touching it uninvited remains poor research method.

  • Each ray segment resolves the nearest valid collision within its length budget instead of piercing a full lane.
  • Passing through another Opti-caltrop orb refracts the beam and multiplies raw pulse damage.
  • Corchid support raises base damage and relay multiplier; CocoBottle Shine can add liquid-state routing and final-hit effects.
  • Cold fireflies prioritize the orb; Magnet-shroom can pass a stolen firefly lamp to trigger temporary laser-cannon fire.
