Bucketholder Zombie
When the bucket breaks, the liquid inside spills out too.

SpeednormalLore
Bucketholder Zombie carries a bucket filled with liquid. The bucket can take about 30 peas and spills its contents when broken. This bucket breaks more easily than one worn on the head. Maybe the material has a high carbon content.
The spilled liquid interferes with the field, but it is not always bad. Magnet-shroom can conveniently remove the bucket and pass it to Hygro Plantago or CocoBottle Shine. The bucket is large; it could probably hold a lot of drinks.
Mechanics
Role
Liquid armor · Terrain interference
- Durability: about 39 peas; normal speed.
- The carried bucket takes about 30 peas of damage.
- When the bucket breaks, its liquid spills and may create water, dirt, lava, or other field effects.
- Magnet-shroom can steal the bucket and let Hygro Plantago or CocoBottle Shine use its contents.
Advanced mechanics
Bucketholder Zombie carries a metal container with two consequences: a 600 HP armor layer must be removed before the ordinary body is exposed, and breaking that layer releases a liquid terrain packet unless Magnet-shroom reroutes it first.
Carried bucket and body work
Read the target as a carried bucket layer in front of an ordinary walking body. The bucket has 600 HP; after it is gone, the exposed body has a 270 HP maximum with about 90 HP reserved for the critical window. The usual work-to-critical value is therefore 780 HP, but only the first 600 HP belongs to the bucket.
That distinction matters because the bucket is not a passive durability label. Damage that breaks it also decides whether liquid is released onto the field. A lane that can barely finish the armor may still inherit a terrain problem before the body is fully cleared.
Break spill timing
When raw damage removes the bucket, the liquid resolves at the bucket's current position rather than waiting for the body to fall. The remaining zombie continues as an exposed walker, while the liquid may create water, dirt, lava, or another local field effect.
Dirt is especially punishing for projectile lanes because it can obstruct shots; water, lava, and other fluids ask different questions: conversion, absorption, control, or emergency clearing. The relevant variable is not only HP, but where the 600 HP break happens.
Magnet routing path
Magnet-shroom changes the event order. It can strip the metal bucket before armor damage breaks it, preventing the hostile spill and reducing the target to the body phase. After that, the practical body work is the ordinary 180 HP work-to-critical segment.
The stolen bucket then enters metal routing. Hygro Plantago is the primary receiver for liquid conversion; CocoBottle Shine can also use the contents when it can hold liquid. If the formation has no receiver, the play is still armor removal, but it loses the resource-conversion upside.
Tactical reading
The best answer depends on whether the liquid is more dangerous as terrain or more valuable as resource. Shooting through the bucket is correct when the lane can control the break point; magnetic removal is preferred when a spill would block projectiles, contaminate a key tile, or feed a prepared receiver.
If the bucket has already broken, Hygro Plantago changes the problem from cleanup to conversion. This is especially important when several terrain liquids are present, because one absorption can turn the enemy's spill and other local hazards into the same smoke event.
- Sustained fire: acceptable when the lane has enough output and the spill point is safe.
- Magnet-shroom: strongest when it prevents a harmful spill or feeds Hygro Plantago or CocoBottle Shine.
- Hygro Plantago: best after a controlled spill or when multiple liquids can be converted together.
- Projectile-heavy lanes: avoid letting dirt form in the firing path; non-projectile or area answers reduce that risk.
Interactions & counters
- Magnet-shroomSteals the bucket and passes the liquid onward.
- Hygro PlantagoBucket liquid can be passed to Hygro Plantago for effect smoke.
- CocoBottle ShineBucket liquid can also fill an empty bottle and change later explosions or refraction.
